Metropolitan Nature

As a graduate philosopher, Emanuele Coccia was associated with various universities around the world. With an interest in subjects ranging from medieval philosophy to contemporary architecture, fashion and visual culture.

He has been at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris since 2011. He published, among other books, ‘La vie des plantes’, ‘La vie sensible’, ‘Le bien dans les choses’, and ‘Philosophie de la maison’.

During the opening ceremony, Emanuele Coccia will be giving the talk ‘Metropolitan Nature’.
