Transcendental sympathy / Tales of the soil, 2023
Een serie van vier roze, bijna onaardse objecten, bevindt zich in het groen van Ruigoord. Transcendental sympathy / Tales of the soil bestaat uit synthetisch materiaal in combinatie met natuur, en is gemaakt van metalen structuren, gepigmenteerde A1-coating over glasvezel en is bedekt met mos dat er op natuurlijke wijze op lijkt te groeien. Het werk viert de overvloed, verandering en de aangeboren schoonheid van de natuur en verkent de onderlinge ruimtelijke verbondenheid.
Natalija Gucheva onderzoekt hedendaagse spiritualiteit die zowel veelzijdig als ingewikkeld is. In spiritualiteit en zinbeleving reflecteren we op onze relatie met natuur, het goddelijke en onze rol in de gemeenschap. Transcendental sympathy / Tales of the soil laat een post-menselijke wereld zien, waarin natuur, technologie en spiritualiteit samengaan. Met het vormgeven van utopieën, die hoogstpersoonlijk kunnen zijn en nog niet altijd werkelijkheid, maar toch niet onmogelijk, kan zichtbaar worden wat onze verantwoordelijkheid en bijdrage aan een betere toekomst kan zijn.
Op verschillende momenten zijn er performances rondom de sculpturen. Sensitieve wezens bewegen door het landschap met deze out-of-space objecten. Gucheva brengt de fricties die we ervaren tussen natuur versus cultuur en technologie, bewust als co-existentie samen in haar werken.

Natalija Gucheva (1998) is benieuwd hoe wij in deze technologische tijd, spirituele verdieping en verbinding met anderen ervaren en mogelijk maken. Met Transcendental sympathy / Tales of the soil wil ze nieuwe perspectieven voor co-existentie tussen alle soorten inspireren vanuit een bewustzijn en erkenning van onderlinge afhankelijkheid.

A series of four pink, almost unearthly objects, reside in the greenery of Ruigoord. Transcendental sympathy / Tales of the soil consists of synthetic material combined with nature, and is made of metal structures, pigmented A1 coating over fiberglass and is covered with moss that appears to grow naturally on it. The work celebrates the abundance, change and innate beauty of nature and explores its spatial interconnectedness.
Natalija Gucheva explores contemporary spirituality that is both multifaceted and complex. In spirituality and sense-making, we reflect on our relationship with nature, the divine and our role in community. Transcendental sympathy / Tales of the soil shows a post-human world where nature, technology and spirituality merge. Shaping utopias, which can be highly personal and not yet always reality, yet not impossible, can reveal what our responsibility and contribution to a better future can be.
At different times there were performances around the sculptures. Sensitive beings move through the landscape with these out-of-space objects. Gucheva consciously brings together the frictions we experience between nature versus culture and technology to coexist in her works.
