De tentoonstelling BioArt van de HKU onderzoekt de relatie tussen mens en natuur, waarin de jonge kunstenaars reageren op de uitdagingen van deze tijd. De klimaatcrisis is een complex vraagstuk waarvoor we geen kant en klare oplossing hebben. Wat we wel kunnen, is onderzoeken hoe we verandering teweeg kunnen brengen met bio art-projecten, met het gebruik van natuurlijk materiaal en met alternatieve visies.

De presentatie is een gezamenlijk onderwijsproject van de onderzoeksgroep HKU Expertise Centre for Creative Technology, met aanstormend talent van de universiteit i.s.m. RE_NATURE.

The exhibition BioArt at HKU examines the relationship between mankind and nature, in which the young artists respond to the challenges of our time. The climate crisis is a complex issue for which we have no ready-made solution. What we can do, however, is examine how we can bring about change with bio art projects, with the use of natural materials, and with alternative visions.

The presentation is a joint educational project of the HKU Expertise Centre for Creative Technology research group, with up-and-coming talent from the university in collaboration with RE_NATURE.
