Come Clay (NL/EN)

Come Clay is een performatief werk door Isa van Lier, waarbij ze deze keer de bezoeker zelf uitnodigt om in te tappen op hun creatieve krachten. In een cirkel van hout en klei ontmoeten mensen en handen elkaar via het materiaal. Hier ontstaat een plek van stilte, bezinning, voelen, creëren en spelenderwijs ontdekken. Gedurende de dag zullen er verschillende momenten zijn waar de kunstenaar een opdracht verzint, om zo samen tot iets te komen wat het individu overstijgt. Geïnspireerd door haar bezoek aan Japan en de bijzondere ervaring van Boeddhistische Zen Tempels bezoeken, probeert Isa van Lier in al haar werken eenzelfde soort rust en balans te creëren in haar installaties.

Isa van Lier (Amsterdam, NL, 1996) is beeldend kunstenaar en maakt installaties en sculpturen van klei die je uitnodigen om in te tappen op een kinderlijke nieuwsgierigheid, speelse creativiteit en de intuïtieve binnenwereld.

Deze performatieve workshop wordt zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels gegeven.

Come Clay is a performative work by Isa van Lier, in which the visitor is invited to tap into their creative powers. In a circle of wood and clay, people and hands meet through the material. This creates a space for silence, reflection, intuitive creation and playful discovery. Throughout the day, the artist will devise various tasks that bring participants together to create something that transcends the individual. Inspired by her visit to Japan and the unique experience of visiting Buddhist Zen temples, Isa van Lier aims to instill the same sense of calm and balance in all her installations.

Isa van Lier (Amsterdam, NL, 1996) is a visual artist who makes clay installations and sculptures that invite you to tap into a childlike curiosity, playful creativity and the intuitive inner world.

This performative workshop will be held both in Dutch and English.
