Andean ways of listening 

Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti invites you to explore Andean ways of listening – inspired by the Suyna Qamani (Sound Harvesters) – where the main practice is to develop kin relations with elementals like wind, water, mountain, a.o., sonically. This communication is seasonal and is explicitly connected with regulating atmospheric conditions and the cycle of agricultural conditions. A reciprocal and ecological practice. 

The work of Bolivian, Amsterdam-based artist Ibelisse, is deeply interwoven in post-colonial justice, and Andean Cosmology as a source of reclamation, resistance and resilience.

Next to the workshop, there will be a walk/meditation so you can experience it on your own during the whole weekend.
