Metamorphoses (EN)

Metamorphoses is a collaboration between philosopher/writer Michael Marder and composer/musician Eilander (Marcus Bruystens). Together they developed a performance based on Marder’s poetic texts (inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphoses). Spoken word, tape loops, electronics, and ambient sound intertwine to create an enchanting soundscape. The boundary between reading and music blurs, while Marder’s voice itself transforms into a musical instrument.
