Wees voorzichtig met oversteken want waar wij elkaar ontmoeten daar leidt weg noch zebrapad. Wij enteren de restvorm in de vorm, de ongebruikte stilte. We nemen plaats in het oog van de storm, het centrum van de rotonde.
Hier ontvouwen wij samen een ritueel, als waarnemers van het hier en nu. Wij laten de stilte in onszelf neerdalen terwijl de stad in 360 graden om ons heen beweegt. Hier samen te zijn en zachte aandacht te hebben voor wat is in het moment, is een eerste stap naar een andere wereld. Een daad van Zachtivisme.

Kunstenaar en schrijfster Jetske Verhoeven is oprichtster van de Zachtivist; een artistieke beweging die zich richt op participatieve kunstuitingen waarbij vertraging, verstilling en zachte aandacht voor het eigen lichaam een brug vormen naar de verbinding met de natuur.
Het Rotonde Ritueel kan zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels begeleid worden.

Be careful when crossing, because where we meet, there is neither road nor crosswalk. We enter the residual form within the form, the unused silence. We take our place in the eye of the storm, the center of the roundabout.
Here we unfold a ritual together, as observers of the here and now. We let the silence descend within us while the city moves around us in 360 degrees. Being here together and paying gentle attention to what is in the moment is a first step towards another world. An act of Softivism.

Artist and writer Jetske Verhoeven is the founder of the Zachtivist, an artistic movement that focuses on participatory art forms in which slowing down, stillness, and gentle attention to one’s own body form a bridge to connecting with nature.
