RE_NATURE is in 2021 geïnitieerd door Imke Ruigrok in opdracht van Stichting Future of Work. Het eerste festival was een succesvolle start in Den Bosch in 2021. Daarna volgden er twee edities in Ruigoord en Amsterdam in 2024 en 2025. Plannen voor 2026 zijn er voor Amsterdam en Rotterdam.

Een festival dagkaart is €15, weekendkaart €25 en voor kinderen van 0-17 is het festival gratis. Met je kaart bezoek je een rijk festivalprogramma (met kunst, de markt, food stalletjes, lezingen, workshops, film- en muziekprogramma). Daarnaast boek je voor een aantal verdiepende workshops een ticket vanaf €2,50. 

Vanaf 1 juni 2025 kun je hier een ticket kopen. Koop deze bij voorkeur voor het festival. Ook kan je bij aankomst, bij de ingang van Ruigoord, je kaartjes kopen.

Het festival is grotendeels goed te bezoeken. Je kan bij aankomst het festivalterrein op gebracht worden. Er zijn betegelde straten en paden. De kerk heeft een rolstoelingang en er is een invalidentoilet aanwezig. Voor wandelingen en expedities zijn de afstanden op het terrein niet groot, maar kan het een uitdaging zijn over de schelpenpaden als u slecht ter been bent. 

Er is parkeergelegenheid aanwezig bij Ruigoord. We raden echter aan, voor wie dat kan, om duurzaam te reizen en met OV of fiets te komen. De bus vanaf Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station stopt voor de deur bij halte ‘Ruigoord dorp’. 

RE_NATURE is in principe een pin-only festival. Voor de efficiëntie is dat fijn. De Salon (een van de podia) is daarop een uitzondering. 

Jazeker! Veel van de werken op RE_NATURE bevinden zich binnen in de gebouwen in Ruigoord en in de overige locaties. De buitenwerken kun je uiteraard ook bezoeken. Neem dan je regenjas en/of paraplu mee!

Ja, RE_NATURE is met kinderen te bezoeken. Niet alleen Ruigoord is daar een fijne plek voor, maar ook hebben we een speciaal kinderprogramma, vooral in de middag. Zie daarvoor het programma (t.z.t.).

Op verschillende plekken in Ruigoord, tijdens het festival kun je terecht voor informatie. Bij de ticketingang ontvang je als bezoeker een (duurzaam gedrukte) informatiebrochure en een plattegrond. Daarin vind je alle informatie die je nodig hebt voor je bezoek. Bij de kerk, midden in het festival, is de centrale informatiekiosk te vinden. Verder is er veel informatie over onze activiteiten te vinden op onze website.

RE_NATURE was initiated in 2021 by Imke Ruigrok on behalf of the Future of Work Foundation. The first festival was a successful launch in Den Bosch in 2021. This was followed by two editions in Ruigoord and Amsterdam in 2024 and 2025. Plans for 2026 include Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

A festival day ticket is €15, weekend ticket €25, and for children 0-17 the festival is free. With your card you visit a rich festival program (with art, the market, food stalls, lectures, workshops, film and music program). You can also book a ticket for some in-depth workshops starting at €2.50. 

From June 1 2025 onwards, you can buy a ticket here. Preferably buy them before the festival. You can also buy your tickets upon arrival, at the entrance to Ruigoord.

For the most part, the festival is easily accessible. You can be brought onto the festival grounds upon arrival. There are paved streets and paths. The church has a wheelchair entrance and a handicapped toilet is available. For walks and expeditions, the distances on the grounds are not long, but can be challenging on the shell paths if you have mobility problems. 

Parking is available at Ruigoord. However, we recommend, for those who can, to travel sustainably and come by public transport or bicycle. The bus from Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station stops in front of the door at the ‘Ruigoord dorp’ stop. 

RE_NATURE is essentially a pin-only festival. This is nice for efficiency. The Salon (one of the stages) is an exception. 

Yes you can! Many of the works at RE_NATURE are inside the buildings in Ruigoord and in the other locations. You can, of course, visit the outdoor works as well. Then bring your raincoat and/or umbrella!

Yes, RE_NATURE can be visited with children. Not only is Ruigoord a great place for this, but we also have a special children’s program, especially in the afternoon. See the program for that (t.b.a.).

At several places in Ruigoord during the festival you can find information. At the ticket entrance, visitors will receive a (sustainably printed) information brochure and a map. In it you will find all the information you need for your visit. At the church, in the middle of the festival, you can find the central information kiosk. Furthermore, a lot of information about our activities can be found on our website.
