RE_THINK

With this theme, we ask visitors to reconsider their current relationship with nature and inspire them to take action. What is our next step? What can we do to prevent the environmental crisis? From taking legal action to knowing where the food in our refrigerator comes from, everything counts. Our society has been using our planet’s natural resources for years. Where that used to be a necessity, man has now become too good at controlling the natural world. So much so that, if we do not restore the balance, this disproportionate exploitation will have consequences for us as well.

The theme RE_THINK brings together several proposals from artists and collectives exploring what we can do to be more in harmony with the natural world of our planet. These designers and collectives explore holistic models for society and strive to see the world as a unified entity. Indigenous knowledge, non-human perspectives, and new visions in science bring a new understanding of our relationship with nature.
